    looks pretty mulberry-y to me. Great wood. Seems like I've been seeing it a lot on here lately.

    never have cut or split any. How easy is it to split with an axe? Are the splits nice and straight or does it grow crooked/twisted?

    Only split with hydraulic. Nice and clean. I just scored some myself. Heavy, lots of water content. Needs time to season.
