Good stuff really good Bourbon and if you fancy Bourbon you will be pleasantly delighted my friend. Pricey but worth it as others are as well Blanton's is another of my favorites and Basil Hayden's is another but you have to get with the Basil the Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

I wish it was warm enough so we could have cold stoves.

Sorry to hear of your loss...
Our little 4 legged fur children are just part of our family, and when they leave us we hurt nearly as much as if it had been a human member.

    Sooooo sorry..

The weather has moderated a bunch....

Yesterday it was about 50 F and just nice.

I got a call from the nut plant manager and he wants the crusher back soon, so we got right after the remaining barrels of 1/2 shells to get them STOVE READY.
We crushed 4 barrels yesterday and hope to get 4 more today

He is still not sure when the old trash fan system will be installed at the new plant and it sounds like it could be a fair bit of time.

Decided to go ahead and build a crusher for our own use.

    Gathering parts now.

Called up the local Water well company we use and got a piece of 8" well casing to fabricate into the ROTOR for the new crusher.

I measured the companies Cracker (Munchy) and got all the needed dims.off of it so I can copy what needs to be copied and the rest I will modify to make better.

Going to go bigger on the rotor... diameter and width.
Going to make the hopper larger too.
Making the motor and rotor stationary and the anvil the movable part (Far easier with less metal needed)

Going to give it 4 legs instead of 3 like the plants unit.
Mounting the entire unit on a big furniture dolly to allow easy movement..

Should make the job easier, faster and more efficient.

Hate to spend the $$$ on the machine, but don't want to fool around and get into next fall and find out that we are still not getting back to the "good stuff"
