IMG_20190312_062641817.jpg This guy fell out of a split this morning as I was loading the furnace for the day...after his photograph, he added an extra .01 BTU to the fire...kind of ironic...the tree he turned into firewood, turned him (her?, it?) into firebug!

Lots of dense fog and also rain today and tomorrow.

Not quite sure if this is a reason to stock up on bread, milk and TP! What think you?

May take a skip to the cottage today.

Well my rosebush looks pretty naked and bare but it is down to a reasonable height now and looks so much cleaner. After a day of rain on Monday, sun came out and temps were warmer. Same kind of day today I think.

Having a hard time getting moving today....up too late last night....think I fell asleep right at 3AM.

I think the grass might have a little tinge of green to it...hard to believe I'm going to have to start mowing here in a few weeks.

Everything starting to flood, little water coming in through the bilco doors. Pea soup earlier as far as looking out a window. Most of my place close the house is solid ice from previous weather events. Very challenging bringing some splits in last night just before the rain started.

I have a neighbor that mows as long as there is no snow on the ground. I see the mower out as late as January, despite the grass being totally dormant. Weirdos

Usually right around April 1 it is patchy and the high spots need knocked down.

Yikes Chris, be safe on the ice and I hope not too much flooding.

Blizzard in full swing here, it's sticky, all the windows are covered, feels like being in an igloo. I'll add a pic after phone charges. Highways closed, here's a pic of the wydot webcam on the way to Colorado
