Looks like tough meat! I got a "stewing chicken" at the supermarket the other day, for soup. It must have been a young rooster, scrawny thing. Not much meat on it, and very tough, even after stewing.

The beets, broccoli, and lettuce snuck up on me. Last year thr rank in front of the window, some of the young plants got "leggy" heading towards the light from the window. This year I put grow lights above them and just caught them in time.

Peppers are finally popping up the past few days. Some more planting today, another 4 flats, the other stuff doing well.

Getting back on a dozen+ egg per day schedule. Here's 5 days worth until after being rinsed. Time to boil up a dozen.
