A little cleanup

    Some more fun with the new toy. Got the stumps cleaned up. Not the best leveling job but will work okay for a woodlot are. Will throw down some grass seed and be mowing soon. Maybe plant a few Christmas trees.
    Trying to get used to the bucket and back blade hanging out. Swings in a pretty good arc and gotta keep an eye on it.

    Mostly Alder with a few Fir, Cedar and Maple. This woodlot is only a couple of acres but will keep me in firewood for the rest of my life if necessary.
    Can always cut on state land if more is needed.

    Looks good, thats indeed a lifetime firewood supply! How about Oak and Ash in Oregon? I burn quite alot Spruce which i think is very similiar to fir and i got to say if its mixed with other wood like maple or such its grand. If its all you got id say its still grand :thumbs:

    I think the oak and Ash is further South of us. I’ve never seen Oak close enough to home to cut.
