That is a really nice trailer you designed and built. I wish I had gotten Dad to teach me to weld. I would draw up the design and then copyright it; copyright fee is not that much. You could sell plans for others to build it.

That thing is the bees knees. I think i need to make one. Where did you get those hubs for the wheels?

The hubs are standard trailer hubs and stubs , I used 4 bolt just because it's what was easily available , I bought some new Yamaha 25x10x12 takeoffs with the rims .
Atv rims have a metric bolt pattern so I did some drilling to mount them on the standard hub , not pretty but it works fine .
I used a dual axle 14" slipper spring center pivot , it's greasable bolt for the pivot and it's matching weld-on hanger . The main reason I used that for the pivot is because it was well built off the shelf stuff , cheap and easier for me to weld both sides straight than it was to make something and drill pivot holes straight on both sides lol
The next trailer I build will be a little heavier , I've scrounged up a bunch of mobile home axles and tires .

Excellent job Dancan...looks like you may have picked up a few ideas from Woodland Mills as you mentioned in a previous post...the walking beam tandem axle is a great feature isn't it?!...I love mine...although I likely dished out a lot more cash than you did...must feel very good to have built your own....good on you sir!!:canada:....Twister IMG_0849.JPG

Yup , I sure did watch a lot of vids and paused them to see how things were set up then tried to cobble stuff together .
I built a rack/box for it a couple of weeks ago to haul so of my gear .

    Thanks guys !
Rope , look at the last trailer pic that I put up in this thread and look at the bunks and stakes .
Make your stakes removable but don't have the pockets that they slide in up like mine , have them flush at the top , it makes for easier unloading at the end of the day .
