New to me splitter

    So, mine doesn't have the one in that video where you can just tighten up the detent pressure. It has a little ball bearing and spring mechanism under an end cap. And just as the old stories said, stuff will go flying. 4 tiny balls, one larger, a spring, and a collar. Not hard at all to re-assemble after you find most of the parts and phone a friend for the one ball you can't find, but it does help to have an extra set of hands. I just added a couple washers to make up for the age of the spring, and all is well.
