Been working too long of hours lately. Time for a break today. I’m going to relax a while this morning and then do some physical exercise before lunch. We have some snow coming down right now.and I’m hoping we don’t get much. I want to get some work done outside around the barn later with the tractor. Time to clean up the snow from yesterday. Hopefully everything has come down off the barn roof.

Really slippery now with the little bit of rain we got and the little thaw. Sun is shinning again and ice is getting a bit of a thaw where the sun hits. Hopefully it will warm up more so more ice melts.

image.jpg image.jpg Finally opened my Xmas present yesterday. This will be a time saver for sure .
I spend about 2-3 full days changing out winter/summer tires on all the vehicles here. The travel and load/unload time to the tire shop got aggravating .Now I can do it in my spare time ! Yea right ,,, what's that!!!! At least it won't be a mad rush now.

Nope, not if you were asking me. It got filled up, and put away where it needed to go.

Ahh, I see you were probably referencing TrinitySouth99 .

You could pay $60K for a power stroke and it won’t run as good.

I would like to share this with all "youse" FHC members-kinda proud.

My son was visiting a friend in the L.P. this past weekend. Said they were hanging out in the garage by a wood stove and noticed the wood was way low. The friend called his Granny who has some land to ask permission to cut a bit of firewood to replenish his pile. Of course, c'mon over.

Once they got there, they saw that Granny had only a very small amount of wood lift also 9but she hadn't mentioned it). They found some standing dead ash (dang EAB) on her property, cut split and stacked for her and left with 1/2 face cord for his friend. He told me there were about 5-6 trees in the 12" to 18" range. That'll keep Granny warm for awhile!
