Here's some I got done up from the wind storm. Cherry, red maple, a little red oak. 20190308_145021.jpg

These two pics are what I have put up so far from operation white pine. Still a ton more to get. 20190308_145154.jpg
This was a nice white oak I scored. I just stacked it last month. 20190308_145414.jpg

These 3 pics are all my mill cutoffs all red oak and white oak. 1 stack is soft maple and a touch of cherry. Sitting 3 years. 20190308_145311.jpg

These 3 pics are some more from the windstorm and operation white pine that still need split.

You've been busy BeechNut , some great pics of neatly stacked future heat. You've got me thinking about getting out now that the temps are warming.

Nice work, you've been hustling. I like clean stacks, but when I am dumping rounds or branches I am tired and can't bother. You sir, have a very organized and aesthetically pleasing operation going on.

The last few years I've started cribbing my ends instead of fence posts. I'm a little concerned as my ground heaves and I've been noticing on some of the stacks the wood is shifting around and lifting in spots. I just hope everything settles back to it's original position when the frost melts.

Frost heaves moves single stacks of wood around here too. I gave up and went to nice wide 40x48 skids that spread out the shift.
20" long splits aren't too bad but 16" forget it. The ground just isn't stable enough. If it's not the frost/ice change it's the variability of soil "softness".

Some day I'll get a pic of a nice long single row of seasoning oak and colorful clothes and bedding strung out on a clothes line. Iconic ! Maybe a layer of snow too.

Very nice stacks BeechNut. That’s a lot of hard work and gratification right there. Good for the soul.
