I admire the guy for coming up with this, i can see it might be useful to some people, and some thing unique to have in your wood shed.

Have to admire the guy for coming up with a new idea. I for one could not use it though as standing on one leg just won't work with me. One has to ask if it would be possible to sit while doing it but I think not as you could probably not get enough power in the foot that is doing the work. Still, a good idea.

This is useful if you have some easy splitting wood. I have a permanent and rather serious hand injury and subsequently I have a scar pain condition. Luckily I can still swing a maul, but if I couldn't, this is something that would keep me swinging...sort of.

Stand for a while, make some kindling
Sit for a while, make some kindling
My back would appreciate the change-up.
My current set up is sit and I can't do it long.
But then how much kindling does one need ?
