    Hello all, another new one joining the conversation. From the little I've read thru the forum, looks like a good bunch of guys/gals here. I finally installed a Fisher insert for the winter of 2017/2018 after wanting to for 7 years. Felled, cut, stacked and burned plenty for deer camp but never really for myself until now, although I had plenty (what I thought was plenty) for myself. Currently on a mission to get on a 3 year program. I'm learning quite a lot from reading of all your experiences and advice.

    Thanks mat60 and Chaz. Yes Chaz, the 3 year plan may turn into a "work in progress" but right now I've made it a goal (my mission) for this winter/spring/hopefully not summer.

    If you wanna alert someone you put the @ symbol in front of their name and type the first 3 letters of their name

    So when I do that and use your screen name it will alert you like so PA Dutch

    Long time follower, first time posting. I have a mild chainsaw addiction and heat my pole barn with wood in the winter. I recently picked up a new saw and wanted to show it off. This is one of about 15 saws that I now own (mostly wall hangers) , but will be my workhorse alongside my trusty old 026.
    I picked this saw up after looking very hard at the new 462. My dealer gave me a screaming price to buy a 461 instead. While I hear great things about the 462, the savings allowed me to buy an extra bar and several chains for the same as what the 462 would have cost. If anyone has experience with the 461 (good or bad) let me know. [​IMG]
