    its nice to have some solar gain and warmer daytime temps. I haven't loaded the stove full in about a week, looks like that's about to change though.

    On my way to Melbourne today to sort out some paperwork. I decided to take the train as the place I am going is literally across the street from southern cross station.

    I haven’t been on a train since I was a teenager and I had forgotten how good they sound!

    Good choice. I want to get on a train again as well. My younger brother and I went across country through Canada with our parents all the way out to the West coast back in 1986 or so. Took three days to get out there. They had two cars with glass domed roofs on them. I was able to order beer!:thumbs: What an amazing view and ride. The Canadian Rockies were just unbelievable. I need to take our kids on a train ride.

    I saw an interesting story about train safety on 60 minutes last night. o_O

    I think what you are thinking about is the shot tower in the Melbourne central shopping centre.

    The shot tower was heritage listed and could not be removed so the shopping centre was constructed around it.

    Actually, the doctor did have music playing when they rolled me in, but it was Led Zeppelin. And I told him he made a good choice of music.

    Just got home about 15 minutes ago from the big city. Took wife in again but all is well. Car thermometer never rose above 10 degrees. Windy too so if outdoors one has to wear gloves for sure. I didn't and just walking to the car my hands hurt.

    On way home saw the state started cutting threes and brush in the ditches along M-57. Stopped to tell them they are free to dump chips on our place.

    :rofl: :lol:Nope. Stairway to Heaven at the time. LOL Then I was out cold. Then woke up back in my room with my wife without knowing anything that had happened. Thank you to whoever came up with that drug, and knowledgeable anesthesiologists for giving it me just the right amount.:handshake:
