Today’s load of wood and a few birch I cut. A nice day out and the birch were all right together and easy to get to.
Today take home. Was just a load the truck day, after work. Has been a few good days of bringing home the birch.
Came home to see some awesome comments, thanks fellas! Hope I did not disappoint. We filled the truck, broke out the fleet of sleds. The 3 sleds are really to bring home, cut and bucked 8 birch that need to come out of the woods. Everything was falling into place, lots of wood done after work today. There are 2-10x3 and 1 -8x3.
Rope = beast; jealous of all your wood cutting. I'm stuck at a desk or finishing the inside of house remodel. Could use some trigger time so keep your therapeutic pics coming!
Thank you Sir! Like most here I enjoy my chainsaw therapy. I will keep the pic rolling. I plan on a load after work today and tomorrow, the family is heading out of town, I made plans with a buddy to cut until dark tomorrow, I hope to get a few cords on the ground. We stumbled into a patch of mature birch that has some snow load damage. I am hoping for some more easy to get BTU's. I One of my coworkers that does not burn wood and uses home heating oil. He did not understand my wood cutting. I showed him the BTU calculator in the resource section of the home page. It really opened his eyes on the savings with burning wood.
Truckload from today and the pile of birch from this stretch of work days. I will get that split on Friday.
