    Dex - this one is yours for the taking, I'm going to pass.

    I need to prioritize a set of 3 pt forks for my tractor as my next firewood related investment. Plus, if you buy it now, there's a chance it will come back around for sale at some point!

    Parts of my brain know that I don't really need this, but other parts are insisting I do.

    Having never handled a Dolmar saw, I looked up some specs. The net weight for the PS-350 is listed at 10.56 pounds, almost 2 pounds heavier than an MS170. Can this be right? Does Dolmar include a bar and chain in their 'net weight' spec?

    Saws are never ever weighed with bars and chains . These little Dolmars are known for being on the heavier side....but they dont feel that way in the hands . The 170 is a weakling compared to the Dolmar 350 . The 170 is all plastic construction including the crank case . The Dolmar is all magnesium crank case. Its a heavy duty small saw . The 180 I have is nice...but revs slower...and vibrates waaaay more than this Dolmar . The Dolmar runs circles around any other saw in the 35cc class . It feels more like a strong 40cc to 45cc saw to me . But opinions vary !! You just have to try a Dolmar to understand !!

    You can also tell alot about a saw by the compression it hold in stock form . 210 psi in not a "typical" reading for a saw in this class :)

    I didn't think the spec could've included the B&C, but figured I might as well make sure. Threads about the model on AS seem consistent with what you've had to say about it, i.e. that it's a really well-built compact saw, and that power:weight isn't everything.

    I'll be picking the saw up at the GTG, so anyone that wants to run it is welcome to.

    Thanks Fuzz :thumbs::drunk::tree::axe:

    I'm kinda glad we are having the GTG, just to save on shipping. I think I have 3 saws I will be receiving there (2 from Fuzz and one from Hittin, and probably one from either Boog or Carbine. ) :)

    I think I will be having another brought. So it will probably be 4 anyway ;)

    Glad you bought this one, because the 4th is likely gonna be of the 70 cc class.. :thumbs:
