To clarify...We are not sick, we’re “twisted”...Sick makes it sound as though there could be a cure. No cure for hoarderatitis, scroungeopathy or chronic stackotomy...Sorry pal.

Yep bunch of micro brewers/ specialty ones now . Miller is still here. Like Miller the other big names are all part of conglomerates now . The big 3 were Miller Pabst and Schlitz in the days of stand alone brewers. I do not remember if Pabst still has any thing going on in town anymore.
Stevens Point is the oldest stand alone brewer in the nation- located in Stevens Point WI. one of the brands is ,of course, Point Beer.

Bottom pic looks like salted minnies minus the salt. I destroy brook trout with them.

Milwaukee still brews a lot of beer and so does the State. Most importantly we still drink a lot of beers in this city.

Public peat, perhaps some. Most rural Irish still cut peat for heating. Our cuz Joe in Castletownbere, Cork HAS to harvest peat each year as do ALL the farmers in the county.

Castletownbere was a wonderful stop on our bicycle tour or Ireland. My wife and got a B&B near the town center and it was like going to grandma's house! The lady that owned the place made us tea and cookies while we locked our bikes in her garage. She said we needed a bit of extra nourishment after cycling all day. It was a lovely Irish town, I think we were the only tourist in town.
