This is true, plus I have a 9HP snow blower that is a beast. Tractor has issues with traction, but still very happy with it.

That is an issue with those machines. Chains & weights are almost an absolute necessity to get the most out of them. They'll move a lot of snow set up right.

25* out 69* in...supposed to be a high of 35* today. We're currently in that weird late winter/early spring funk where it's not real cold but not too warm either. That will go until next week when the temps drop again back to winter temps.

Really? A nice end to March? I hope that happens!
We've got a couple inches of light fluffy snow at 15°, but it may get to 30° later. That will feel warm after all that wind-chill the last few days. I've got a car full of sugar maple chunks and cookies, I'll split them in the driveway. Got comments from both UPS and the mailman yesterday.

Getting done early is strange. Kids have a hockey tournament this weekend and leave this morning. After work I will be cutting, hopefully to dark or later. Looking to get a few cords on the ground ready to go.

Spruce has the house a little on the warm side this morning, better than the other side of the thermometer. I k ow it hard to imagine but it’s cooler than forecasted. EEAAFE35-5851-4178-A70A-041AB4F02CA0.png

    Warming up fast.
    Sun blazing and blue sky.
What a relief. There's been a serious lack of sun since last October here.
Bunch of kindling fresh coal and beech load on some left over coal slag.

Rope keeps gaining on daylight hours. Soon he will be catching up to us and then passing us too.

Started the day at 14* and we are at 22 * right now. Mostly sunny with a few clouds. Do nice to see the sun.
Chaz ended up plowing last nite as over the last few days we had gotten about 6" .
