    Oh yeah...
I have this one set of coveralls that have been "clinkin'" lately. Thought it was just the zipper tabs, but every step sounds like you're wearing spurs. Well, lo-n-behold, a small tear in a pocket was discovered. So was the stack of coins at the bottom of the pantleg.
After a few contortions, a tug here and a pull there, $0.53 was recovered. There's still another coin down there, but it's not clinking so I'll leave it alone.
Only downside, I'll now feel weird whistling the "Good, bad, and ugly" theme as I walk down a hall.

    ""Peter""
(Inspired by the Peter Bergmann case)

    "Oh, "Peter".....
Were you anyone's husband, anyone's dad?
An uncle or maybe the only brother someone had?
A grandfather, or a childless bachelor,
    Who lived and died alone?
Well that we may never know,
But you had to be someone's son.

Were you a bad man or a good man,
Hiding from evil, or from the law?
It's had to know how to feel for sure,
Till we know who you really are.

Did you mail away some belongings,
Or did you say your final goodbyes?
    Were you really from Vienna,
Or just a master of disguise?

What's in a name, they say,
Well what's in a name anyway.
A name you chose for a brief hotel stay,
The name you're known by to this day.

    Walking the streets of sligo,
With your purple bag in hand,
You seem to know where the cameras can't see you,
Better than the natives of the land.

You left the hotel with your bag filled up,
    With its contents still unknown.
And you returned several times a day,
The bag as empty as you were alone.

Were you afraid in your hotel room,
    Was someone getting close?
    You didn't seem too talkative,
Roaming the streets like a ghost.

When you got to rosses point again,
You had nothing left to lose.
The cab man recommends this place,
And it's indeed the place you choose.

The clothes on your back is all that you have left,
    That you can hold.
You walked up and down the beach some time,
    Was the water looking cold?

    Night fell upon Ireland,
And most folks went to sleep.
And come early morning the next day,
You were lifeless on the beach.

Come to find out, you were very sick,
    Were you suffering alone?
Was your spirit just as crippled,
As your flesh and as your bone?

How great was your will, That without a pill,
You stood the pain and walked?
What did you have to hide,
Will it be revealed with the tick of the clock?

Does someone know who you really are,
And just won't come forth and say?
If the tide was rolling the other direction,
You could have been washed far away.

But it carried you back to the shoreline,
To a young man and his dad.
Did the strangers at your funeral,
Love you more than anyone ever had?"

Well after sitting on it for 24 miles I think your both right mat60 & rottiman. My azz hurts more than my legs! I have to get used to riding again and loose some weight.

The old bike was flawless it’s just a pity about the 265lb rider.

I stuck a "granny saddle" on my Bianchi a long time ago, never looked back. Nice and comfy, great for a solid rear frame.

I don't currently ride much, but when I do....... I don't swell my prostate, suffer from ED, nor chaffing on my inner thighs. Don't get me started on anal leakage due to those hard plastic seats. It's not pretty.
Get a seat you like, you'll enjoy it more and you won't walk around bowlegged the next day. Just a thought. ;)

Earlier out of bed this morning. My son wanted a ride to go workout with his friends in the high school workout room. Didn’t really feel like it but glad he wants to do it, and the friends are good kids. So I brought him.

As soon as my wife and daughters get out the door I’m going to start a workout myself. Then it’s off to the enjoyment center. You hoarders have a good day. Stay safe and have some fun.

Is it snow? Nope.... Is it sleet? Nope ... Is It snow balls? Nope... it’s freezing fog/mist.... made it work safely.... but there was a few 3 or 4 times I had the Ol’ Pucker factor.... it was a interesting ride to say for sure... any touch of the gas would literally send you in the down hill slope of the road way.... thank goodness I leave before most people are up and at it...

I am glad to hear you made it to work safe. We have been having freezing weather without the precipitation. Garden plants have no snow cover for protection. Not a typical February for sure.

Kiddo got a tablet for her birthday last summer. Wants to play a game on the school bus. I'm 3 hours into installing "Google Family Link" . I am technologically challenged :picard:

I was almost all the way through after learning along the way how to navigate a tablet that talks with my cell phone (family does not work with my pc unfortunately) and it said I have update the tablet. Except you need to sign out and do it another another user since I set the tablet up on the family safe kiddo account:rofl:  :rofl:

For sure if you don't ride often, the saddle is the worst part on the bike! That's another good point about recumbents. Wide seat rather than a saddle and never get a sore behind!

I see you also have eggbeaters on the cranks. That is what I use too on all my bikes.

Really strange thing this morning. After getting 3" snow, we then got some freezing drizzle and the temperature was 15 at the time. I've never before seen freezing drizzle at that low of a temperature.

I'm sure everyone remembers the high winds that swept through most of the United States. Here is a story from last weekend that was put out by our DNR:

Snow and strong winds during Marquette’s most recent winter storm created blizzard conditions so intense, several snowmobilers became stranded.

Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officers responded to several emergency calls to aid snowmobilers Sunday, working through the night into the early hours of the next day.

“There were multiple people lost and stuck on the trails in Marquette County,” said Sgt. Mark Leadman. “None of these were quick rescues; everything was dragged out due to the extreme winter conditions.”

The storm raged through the area, shutting down traffic along M-28 between Marquette and Munising, dumping nearly 20 inches of snow near Negaunee and producing wind gusts over 60 miles per hour along the Lake Superior shoreline.

In one rescue mission, two Marquette men, ages 30 and 31, were snowmobiling near Trail No. 8 when they got separated from each other due to low visibility from the blowing snow. Both of the riders' snowmobiles became stuck in 6-foot-tall snow drifts.

Around 11 p.m., Conservation Officer John Kamps began assisting Marquette County Search and Rescue personnel in locating the two men. After looking for about an hour, one of the riders was found near the Lindberg Gravel Pit, north of Marquette County Road 480.

It was several hours later before the second snowmobiler was located, about a quarter mile from where the first man had been found.

“Both men were cold, but in good condition,” Kamps said. “Unable to get their snowmobiles out of the deep snow drifts, both of the men were taken by first responders to a warm location near the gravel pit.”

Kamps then left the first search-and-rescue effort to respond to a second call for help along Trail No. 8, this one from a 52-year-old Marquette man who was stranded near the crossroads of County Road 480 and M-553.

The man had been snowmobiling home when he became lost in whiteout conditions. His snowmobile got stuck in a 3-foot snow drift. Kamps and a volunteer search-and-rescue team member entered the trail on their snowmobiles in the crossroads area.

After about 90 minutes of searching, they located the man, cold, but in good condition. The man had abandoned his snowmobile and walked the trail for 3 or 4 miles, searching for help. The man was given a ride back on the volunteer’s snowmobile. He was dropped off at a warm location around 1:30 a.m., where he was able to call for a ride home.

In another incident, farther west, Leadman and conservation officers Josh Boudreaux and Brett Delonge responded to a Marquette County Dispatch call about three men from Ohio who were stranded along Trail No. 5. The men made several calls for help to emergency dispatchers after their snowmobiles became stuck in drifted snow covering the trail.

“The roads weren’t passable,” Leadman said. “Conditions were blinding with extreme drifts.”

Using GPS coordinates obtained from the 911 call, the conservation officers searched the trail for several hours before they located the three men around 1 a.m.

With the sleds stuck in the snow, the conservation officers transported the men on their patrol sleds a distance of about 7 miles before arriving at a convenience store located at Koski Corners.

They got to the store, which is situated at the intersection of M-95 and U.S. 41 West, at about 3 a.m. There they were able to call a ride to pick them up. Neither of the snowmobilers required medical attention.

“Conservation officers receive unique search and rescue training, as well as training on how to operate snowmobiles and ORVs in intense weather conditions,” said Chief Gary Hagler, DNR Law Enforcement Division. “We are thankful to have officers located in every Michigan county, who are able to use their department resources to navigate into difficult environments.”

During the storm, which was one of the fiercest to hit the area in some time, the Mackinac Bridge had also been closed, while countless local roadways were choked with snow and drifted over. Police and weather forecasters warned motorists that travel would be difficult to impossible during the storm, urging drivers not to travel unless necessary.

While the sun broke through the clouds Monday afternoon over Marquette County, whiteout conditions persisted near Munising, with M-28 remaining closed. Sections of several snowmobile trails remained impassable for trail groomers, with trees downed and drifts higher than 8 feet in some places.
