26* out 74* in.Locust,Ash,Soft Maple. Not sure how much snow we got, but even with 4WD I almost turned around and went back home. Walworth and Kenosha county had a hard time. I'm gonna eat and go to . I meant sleep.

Fought the equipment again and finally won the battle against the 6" of sleet and snow we got here. Glad I brought a few days worth of wood in yesterday, cause I'm about done after three roadside plow repairs! In the end, apartments are plowed, took care of former neighbor who's fighting the C word, and current sorta neighbor who's battling heart issues. Also got the home place scraped, so it's IPA time.

Not sure what Mrs Papi has burning, but it's got the house at 74 with teens outside so I don't care! :)

Got more rain than snow here today, & very little ice! Lake effect cranking now with the wind switch from E to the SW. Supposed to get 2-4" so not real bad. 30F & dropping now. Elm & Beech in the boiler & plow ready for morning.

Another nice day here, cut some wood after work. The 461 makes quick work of bucking rounds. One spruce and one birch, brought the spruce home today, double shift tomorrow and the birch will come home Thursday for moms valentines present. 34° here, drizzling a bit on top of the snow. Can't tell how much we got now it's been rained on, but for sure less than the projected 6". Oh well, I'll push it around the driveway, at least I'll get some exercise. Still burning through the red maple and oak in the basement, and plotting where to put new stacks in the spring.

23 feels like 11 with about 8” of and it’s still snowing. No ice or rain yet but it’s just SE of us so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. 75 inside with a little pine on the coals. Looking forward to the end of the storm later this morning. :tractor:

OK, I have an update for you from a radio station.

YTD snowfall-just over 130". Snow depth on ground-32" temp is 10 feeling like -2. The station reported 10" of snow from yesterday, but they are west from me and the farther west you go, the less snow they got. Marquette Mi got right around 17" yesterday.

Yes sir that’s Clearwater creek. Get your Hannah Montana at downtown Big Rays in Fairbanks. They are the only place that tie them 4 colors, the dark purple and hot pink have been the best.

Another nice day in store, making about 7 minutes a day. Starting the day at the best it’s going to be, looks like it will be down hill from now. 0E34326B-E6F9-4331-B3B4-30109E7A3B14.png 9CE2A32D-7D2C-43E9-BD7A-B6353AEC7A33.png
