I just cleaned ( organized the mess) my cellar, and ended up with three garbage bags full of pellet bags! Does anyone have a practical way to get rid of them? I don't think they recycle.

I've seen pics of DexterDay's cellar, so I assume he folds, irons, and ties his up in neat little blocks for the trash man, but I don't have that kind of time!

Mine well a lot of mine go to the wife's / sister's shop as they use them to paint their creations on but I still have a lot left over. I do fold mine nice an neat only because they stack better and I would have them everywhere had I not, once and a while I get lazy and before you know it I have a big pile of them making a mess . No other practical use for em though Ill be watching this one to see what someone comes up with.

Garbage bags around the garage/shop, leaf bags, piling up faster than you could use them so off to the recycle bin. Can't really use them around as they statically hold the pellet fine dust.

We put them out with the recycle items. Couple years ago when we had about 6 feet of snow in a month, we used a couple of them taped together to make the “snow slide” portion of a home made roof rake. Every store was sold out so we had to get creative! Worked like a charm too! In fact those bags proved to be a much better value than the product that came inside them! Okanagans.

I get a lot left over even though I use them for trash bags, kitty leavings holder, yard clean up, weed light blockers (for poison ivy especially) and some other duties that I can't remember right now. I roll a bunch of them tightly and place into another bag. Then smash more into the bag, then take to the dump. No one in the area will take them for recycling.

Have to admit, when I leave them out by the road in the recycle container - I wonder what they really do with them. Do they really get recycled or do they just chuck them in with the trash? One day if I ever see the dude out by the road I will ask...
