Nope. Skeeter time is usually around 5/20 here; well after the gtg.

Looks like we have 2 little storms coming our way. Should not be a problem, at least won't be if we don't get more ice.

Weather prognosticators calling for 3-6" Tues. through Wed morning.
More fun will be had by all.......who am I kidding? I don't want more snow. I haven't even roof raked off the last few we got.
On a lighter note, I made a few dozen Oatmeal/pumpkin/choc chip/walnut cookies (last batch about to come out of the oven) this morning. I wanted Oatmeal CC or regular CC, but my wife LOVES pumpkin. We now know who got their way....don't we? Somewhat of a compromise.

Mine don't look nearly as nice as the pic on the site, but I feel I've created a new food pyramid.............

OK, apparently this is all you have to do.

Told to me by an acquaintance back in the 80's. He also had to read for the congregation one Sunday morning. He was out way too long Sat night. Ended up mispronouncing "Gentiles" with the word "genitals"! Was the end of his reading career.

Headed out a little after 6:00 this morning to shovel the roof at the cottage. Nice and brisk at 3 degrees F. What used to take 45 minutes now takes almost exactly double. :BrianK: Yeah, I know.

I just stayed inside all day today beside stepping out of the patio door literally 2 steps to get to the grill to cook ribs.

We're getting snow now, but it's light fluffy stuff that just makes the glare ice worse. Now Tuesday night, we are to get wet heavy snow 7-10". That will fix this ice issue.

Sweet mother of f***......I've had the wheels from my uncles old Malibu sitting in mom's porch for almost a month, the guy who bought the car allegedly had no room for them yet, he was supposed to come get them after 6 PM tonight, I did say "after" not "at" but its 9:35 now here and no sign of him. Those wheels fit our G6, If he doesn't come tonight I'll have half a mind to tell my uncle to tell him if he doesn't keep the next appointment I'll keep the wheels for myself. A month to make room for 4 wheels, and can't even keep an appointment. I'm only too glad to help out my uncle, but I lose my patience with non-punctual strangers real quick.

I bought a DVD a few months back and have been waiting for an evening to watch it. Last night, while 99 lbs was working a puzzle, I finally remembered to watch it. Basement stove was burning and nice and comfy.

Tonight, I asked if she wanted to watch another movie. "Are you done watching that one with all the swearing in it? They sure used a lot of bad language....I didn't like it."

I asked her..."How about My Cousin Vinny?"

The girls helped move some split into the woodshed and the snow came down nasty.

We waited it out inside watching Abe Lincoln versus Vampires. the weather cleared by the end of the film, but they were in the loafing mode by then. We plan to hit it next weekend.

Their decision cut into their pay for the day. I enjoyed spending time inside with them. Always very good natured and smart.
