A rendition of an Allman brothers song.

Prophetic, as sadly a combination of 7 original and more recent members have passed on at relatively young ages.

Some rich sounding layered guitar work in both of these great southern rock tunes.

The late great Oscar Peterson from Canada. I was fortunate enough to see him perform live twice before he passed on. I pull up something by him to listen to almost weekly.

They are so good. My fav live moment onstage is Susan's solo work, and when she realizes at 7:02 this night was special...

Wow so much good music being made out there. It is great to have people here share some of it...both old and new.

Is this a repeat show, or did they find a new host since Garrison Keillor's fall from grace?

This show was a big deal in MN. I went to a live performance and met GK in the beer tent at the MN State Fair years ago.

Right where I want to be.
I like the alternate version with Red. Kinda messes up the recent narrative re: the song, eh?

On weekends I usually try to catch some of VPR Replay. This is a rebroadcast (streamed, looped) of a couple of shows: All The Traditions, and My Place. Here’s a description of the shows...
    My Place

    All The Traditions

And here’s a link to the stream (pick VPR Reply from the options)

Political correctness no longer serves any purpose but to limit speech and create hatred where none existed in the first place.
It's sad that losers use this as a divisive and controlling tool. There's enough animosity in the world, why spend so much time and effort making more ?
And that's all I have to say about that.
