Weather permitting, I'm gonna tackle the other side of the Bucket today, that side is a bit worse.

Well, all cut out, ground to some "fairly good metal" and welded back in. Also fixed a small crack up in the top of the bucket, I didn't want to get to involved with that, it wasn't super important for now and I was trying to beat rain, lucky it passed us. So, sides are "almost" good as new, will last me as long as I'll live. I'm gonna need to do some repairs on the back down the road but for now I'm happy with what I got done. :) Found some school bus yellow spray paint in the shed, "good as new"!

Nice job on bucket Dave. I have a Ford 555 that I bought last year that I had to do some repair work on.
The bucket has a little rust but not to the extent of the bucket you repaired.

The backhoe is up in New Hampshire, I haven't done anything "extensive" with it yet, I did level my drive/road a little, it had some deep ruts in it.
I have it covered with a tarp over the engine and cab area, somebody said it "snows" in New Hampshire...:rofl:  So, If I go up there during winter, I'll want to start it and run it a bit.
Thanks! That's a nice looking machine there Mag Craft

You should add some Diesel 911 to the fuel now too...if you come up in winter and it's been sitting in the cold that fuel will be gelled right up!
