I did a quick search but came back empty. Does anyone have the size and thread pitch of the hole in the ideal steel? My probe got roasted and bent, and my cat guard cover thing is melted to death and pushed the probe out when I slide the cat closed any way Any help is much appreciated. Tony
Sorry I can't help with the hole size and pitch, but just wanted to drop in and say that if you call Woodstock I bet they'll send you a replacement screw for little or no charge saving a trip to the hardware.
I tried to find the screw that came with our stove but no luck. I also looked in the parts section of the manual and didn’t find anything. I’d call them. Most of them will know the answer without looking it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Didn't I read somewhere that at extreme temps magnets loose polarity? At 900F I would assume it would have an effect on the magnets strength? Am I wrong?
I've currently got a husqvarna carb bolt from the bolt bin finger tight in that hole. But tomorrow I'm gonna be digging in the parts bin at work
