10 this morning with no wind to speak of for a change. Upper 20’s with late day mixed showers, enough for an inch or so of slop but it’s supposed to be above freezing tomorrow for a change. We’re ready for any kind of warmup.
75 inside and I just put a couple splits of pine on the coals.
Anyone believe the groundhog? We can only hope!

Labs got restless in their crates around 6am, took them out, fed watered and now sleeping. I know I'm forgetting something........what is it? Oh I know no wood to load, temp is close to 40 so no fires for awhile.

21° right now, headed to 38° maybe. I'm back to red maple, I have a row in the back of the woodshed I want to use up, so I can use the space to keep fresh splits under cover. Babysitting today, but looking at 3 days (MTW) of glorious above-freezing temps! I should be able to get all of my latest locust score processed.

Not worried about not getting to burn wood, spruce keeping things real. We are up to 7.5 hours of daylight. Solastice was 4.5. 3B411184-BDE3-4CCB-8BDF-E5E3A42F1463.png 18045E85-DB98-4243-9F15-CE6B3116081F.png

Oh yeah. Traffic is one of the things I hate about going east. The closer you get to the coast the heavier the traffic. I was thinking about that a few days ago when I had to go to East Lansing. Very, very few cars on the roads, even in the city. Guess it was too cold for most folks. I loved driving with light traffic as it reminded me of driving in Northern MI. There is a tremendous difference in traffic from north to south in MI.

That sounds good Brian. Looks like we might get ice then snow then rain... Tuesday a high of 28 before the ice thing. Wed 33 and Thursday 34 but the other days below freezing. It is not spring just yet.
