    Beside just heating the house my wood burner does other stuff.

    Fresh from the oven, Home made bread.
    Slap on some butter and its good as gone.:(
    Only trouble is its gone too fast. Yummy

    Yes! For sure many do some cooking or baking on their wood stoves. Here is a picture I took when my wife was making apple butter.

    I'm jealous of those who can cook with their stove top. I can't with my stove due to design ( just not hot enough on top). About the only thing I can do is put a tv tray in front and dry boots in a hurry with the blower!:rofl: :lol:
