I have the same model Honda. It has been great but I do wish for power steering when wet snow gets packed on the plow. Your new wood hauler looks like it will be more than capable. Congratulations.
I have a ‘13 Foreman that I have 2,300 miles on and a ‘11 Can-am outlander 800R with 3,400 miles. I had two other foreman’s one with 13,000+ and 11,000+. I can tell you that the outlander is as tough if not tougher than a fireman. I love foreman’s but there not a Can-am. I have done things to my can-am that would have killed the foreman.
The biggest thing I noticed was how much more I could weigh I could tow with the can am. Not to menttthe smoother ride better ground clearance. This past fall during moose season I went up a boulder strewn glacier river. Water level was to the seat, went about 14 miles up to the base of the Wrangle mountains. Figured out where I am sheep hunting next year. I can tell you the foreman would not make that trip with the same ease. Came out of the wilderness with a 55 1/4.
Nice machine there jerhurt Thing looks like a beast sitting next to it's predecessor. If that thing can't haul the wood, somethings wrong.
Pulled a couple of loads with it today. I think I need to build a bigger sled. I’m impressed. I need to get wheel spacers so I can use my chains then I’ll be set Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Glad you like it jerhurt .. They all look pretty new.. I like ones that still run at 10 yo plus!!! Rope if you ever get old and stop heating with wood, just stay here and keep posting those beautiful pictures!
