Scraping up the dregs from the last storm before the rain was a pleasure with the Kubota and bucket yesterday. We had 2-3” of solid hard pan that I cleaned off 3 driveways. That’s what I like about having the blower on the rear, still have the bucket without taking a bunch of crap off.

This January rain is crap :hair:
I'm going to need a "Zamboni" to tune up my driveway into a world class Luge track.

This AM standing in the 3 way intersection of the house drive and the main drive. It was actually easier to drive my little Tacoma up to the road than it was to walk on it, even with spikes on.

A buddy stopped by later with his sander and hooked me up.

Good on your buddy! That looks like it was very slippery I'm surprised the Tacoma was able to go. Do you run studded tires?

Argh! I was having such a great day out in the woods with chainsaws and tractors, etc. The air temp was below freezing but the sun was out and there wasn't much wind, at least where I was working. Then, a moment of not paying attention attention while back up and smack. Ran me fender/rear light housing into a 4" diameter beech tree. Not looking forward to visiting Messicks for the replacement parts on Monday. 20190125_161526.jpg It's supposed to look like this 20190125_161517.jpg

Ouch! I’ve wiped the light off my left fender twice while bushogging around trees. I hope it doesn’t take too many parts to fix yours.

Mike look on the bright side, if that plastic light housing was not there it would have been part of the metal fender and not be a bolt on part.
I have a few metal "dings" from dropping dead limbs, one on the fender and one on the hood.

No, I guess there was just enough sand through poking from the last time to get me up the big hill. Those glossy areas in the pics are a mild grade that I decided to drive a few buckets of sand up to the steep hill it was doing so well I just kept going all the way to the road. The Taco surprised me, going slow and being at home I guess made me a little "ballsy" to give it a shot.

Good luck mike! Hope it’s not too costly for ya. I hate it when that stuff happens but we all do it.

Whew! I found the part (aftermarket) for $53 on Ebay. That's about half of what I was expecting. I may actually wind up a couple bucks in the black for yesterday's work.

Great! I also tried out and liked those heavy duty crayons for marking.

IMG_3476.JPG Getting ready to haul some black locust and...boxelder out. I always say if it is easy I will grab boxelder. Will travel a bit for black locust. The dropped trees are to the right of the photo. A few more decent sized locust trees to drop tomorrow.

Sweet! You can get holders for them at menards. Sometimes I use one and sometime I don’t.

I fabricated the quick attach to my new to me plow. I still have more work to do but I got most of it done.
