Probably not made in China. Gotta love the older saws :)

Yeah, that's prob a good runner. If it had good compression.

Those old saws had 2 coil ignitions if I remember correctly.

nice saw fuzz- that must be the cousin my 'new' 257 is missing so bad?

I think the coil might be same as a stihl 041. Or maybe they both have a coil, not sure on that ;)

One of those showed up on CL in Cleveland a couple months back. There were no pics, the ad just said "Husqvarna 65cc chainsaw," but I emailed the seller and he sent a pic of the same model in really nice shape. I didn't know anything about the model and did not feel like driving to Cleveland to investigate, but was curious about it.

I might drive 30 miles for junk saws, yup, have many times actually. Any farther than that I need a second excuse for the trip.

I think Gary might only be rivaled by Leeha in his long-distance saw acquisition abilities.

I am so regretting not going to the Upstate NY G2G that was today. Really wanted to make that one. I'll have to catch up with Lee at Spikes' if he does a G2G this year.
