I like having a case for my saw(s)
I'm looking for one for my newly acquired 288
From the little bit of looking I've done it appears they don't make
a hard case big enough for these bigger saws. Or am I missing something?
Won't fit in my powerbox, brake handle is too high.
What do you good folks use if anything?

I bought a couple from northern tool some years back. Think they had a pretty good sale on them if I remember. My 372 fits in it well. Ran one over a while back with saw in it. Glad I had it for sure, box was ruined but crushing the box gave me enough time to realize what was going on and stop before I destroyed the saw. Not sure how much bigger a 288 is but there is a little wiggle room with my 372. plus you can do wonders with a heat gun and or dremel.

Like to get to people? Buy one from Stihl and put the husky in it.

haha armrbu84 actually shipped the husky to me in a stihl box. I loved it.
If stihl makes a case big enough for it, I would do it.
The northern tool link appears to be the black version of the powerbox so I don't think it will fit.
I need to go measure mine and compare specs.

    Or the opposite.
I have a Husqvarna case that housed my old STIHL 031AV for many years until it was replaced with my new 550xp Husqvarna.

I believe that the 365 / 372 is the largest saw that will fit in the Husqvarna case.

That's funny...because I have a Husky and carry my Stihl in it!
