    Been pouring here most of the afternoon. Ground's frozen. Water's got nowhere to go... so... it's flooding the garage and basement... :headbang::headbang::headbang:... 4 feet of snow vs hot water winter rain... anytime... :dex:

    Slowly gainin on it. The water has finally stopped coming in the garage and basement. The fire is drying things up nicely down there already. Slowly drying up in the garage too. Very grateful to have heat out there.

    My garage is flooded too - has to go to a back corner before getting to the sump pump. The water tends to pool along the wall to the basement but it is mostly controlled by a concrete "ramp" up the base boards. I sprayed the heck out of the base to the entry door with an hydrophobic product and it does a pretty good job keeping it from soaking in or trying to go under. I renew it every other summer (or more) to keep it effective.

    Probably have ground water coming up thru crack on the basement floor too, but with the raised floor system I put in, don't see a thing to make me nervous. I have always had everything raised a bit from the basement floor - just in case.

    My son just reminded me of a funny video I apparently showed my family and he thought it was from someone who posted it on FHC.

    It was of a squirrel and a guy was talking for the squirrel......? I remember something like that. But it was a while ago. Any of you guys remember that?

    Just posted one I guess. I can’t remember it. My son said I showed it to all of them and it was hilarious. We had just been watching the Syracuse basketball game a little bit ago and that insurance commercial came on where the two squirrels are high fiving each other for the car running off the road trying to avoid them. Made him remember the other one I showed them.
