What are you listening to right now?

I know the feeling. I picked up my trumpet a couple years back, I hack using the Real Book, at some Miles, Coltrane etc stuff. If I can get 8 bars to sound like anything near what they make it sound like I take it as a Spiritual Experience.

Top pic is my music room and I finally got some decent record storage.

 

I loved when they had that as the intro to Moonshiners. Hated that they changed from that theme song.

 

Really like the song. Have had fun playing it once in a while. SE is the real deal...

This cold snap has got me tending the stoves and spending more time inside enjoying my record collection. Someone told me vinyl is back! I never knew it was gone!

Here's a totally under appreciated blues band from the early 70s, with huge talent.

 

Any day is a good day for a little Steely Dan.

 

I listened to Hush Hush earlier. Never heard of The Seigal Schwall Band. Cool. I have enjoyed listening to some of Steely Dan’s stuff of the years.

 

Did you find it on Youtube?! They were great!

 

Yes. Sometime I’ll sit with a cold beer at night and listen to some more of their stuff. Thanks for sharing.
