    Morning folks:

    Mother Nature is going to whipsaw us today....high of 44 here in NJ and then it will plummet to around zero tonight. I let the Ideal Steel go cold, gave the cat a vinegar bath and rinse and am waiting for the Mrs. to wake up before hitting the stove with the Shop Vac. Thankfully it looks like this cold snap won't last long.

    I’m still waiting for it to get warm enough again but the Fireview is still doing great so far since the last cleaning.

    Yeah the weather in NJ today is going to be screwy. I'm just going to empty out the ashes today. I cleaned my cat recently and it's burning fine. I don't feel like making a mess w the soot eater either lol.

    Always one step ahead on cleaning here, gave the stove and stack a scrub 5 days ago. Wasn't needed really, but chimney fires can't happen when there's nothing to burn.:yes:
