Burnin Red pine in the stove also, wow it throws some heat, once split and brought in the house that dead standing red pine reads 17 0/0 after sitting for an hour by the stove. Its been quite the workout not burning my cordwood and scavenging with the atv or truck every few days. Its fun though. Iv got 6 cords dry 2 years and a new pile of atleast 4 but ill be in awesome shape after this winter if keep it up. Saw buck is fun, i added the chains to hold down the long pieces and it works nice. Snowin like crazy right now
Looks gooder Woodwhore I need to build me one of those so I can start cutting up the slabwood I have. That will be a summer project most likely. I like that idea with the chains!
I like the chain idea too for when you are working alone. I may have to do that in the future if we have to use the saw horse as the wife is getting where she can't help much.
