Caffeine going in. I went out and plugged the :tractor:in and fed the chickens. This morning I get to dig up the top of the septic tank and have it pumped out. :picard:Hopefully it won’t be too difficult. The top is pretty close to the top of the ground so it doesn’t seem to freeze to hard.

I still have not fixed that leach field properly. That will have to be done this spring after things dry up a bit. But getting it emptied out will get us through the next six months.

After that is done and covered back up I will be going out to work on the new trail loop. :saw:Need to get as much done on that today and tomorrow morning before the storm gets here.

Went to my daughters chorus concert last night , she did a great job.
I've got a new nickname for though, last-minute Liz, literally told us at 10 after 5 when she had to be at the hall at 5:30. That one of her friends needed a ride which added an additional 20 minutes to our trip..

Yesterday turned nice with sunshine and windy. this morning, wind and rain again. I just noticed that my weather sticker is working again. I nearly deleted it but forgot about it. Definitely no snow for us this weekend.

What's up, the thread asks? Well, it is Jack Straw's birthday. I'm sure he was served breakfast in bed too... Well, maybe. Nevertheless, we wish him a very happy day.

    Uncovered, and then pumped out.

    And all cleaned up 6ABF0228-2FD0-4C5A-92E8-514F8B0EE54E.jpeg

While I waited for the truck to get here I pulled the plug on the bottom of the chimney and went up and cleaned the cap with my pole saw extended out. Two good jobs done this morning.

I guess 1/2 the school is out sick with the flu, WWW just picked kiddo up, fever. Hopefully it's just a cold, she had a flu shot but it's likely all the kids out with the flu did too, just like poor NortheastAl , different strain. What a nice school, the lunch lady made her a sack lunch to take home :)

ETA, gave her childrens motrin when she got home and she's now bouncing off the walls  The kids medicine these days taste like a grape jolly rancher

My flu was influenza A, if that means anything. Hope it is just a cold and she feels better soon.

Thanks again everyone for the concern and well wishes. I am feeling better, but having a hard time lying down to sleep. That’s when I start coughing again.
