There are many things I have lost a complete hearing of. Watching old movies, I will make a comment like "now why do you suppose they edited that part out?"

99 looks at me and answers "Its in there..........."

And admitting my memory is better than my hearing is not a good thing. Tinnitus has been my nemesis for decades now!

Maine's own Oshima Brothers are quite a team. Sean writes the songs and sings them. Younger brother Jamie plays every instrument he gets his hands on (and well) and does all of their tech production... audio and video. They're off on tour now. Check their latest video.

Nope... 2019... just 2 of the happiest young guys I've ever met. Their folks are also musicians and are giving them great advantages with their musical quest. Jamie is so incredibly talented, it's crazy. They have something like 30 different instruments in their house in Belfast, and Jamie plays all of them. Here's a crazy vid of Jamie 5 years ago, just barely touching the surface of his skills...

If I hadn't been glued t the TV last night watching the game I could have posted that I was listening to the game. Watching my Tigers (my alma mater) layout a first class whooping on Alabama "Roll that Tide" right out the stadium!!

Congratulations boys game and season well played. Show all the nay sayers that Clemson is a real power house and football and the Best team.

I was in the K's of my record collection.

So now that winter has set in, I have been adding to and reviewing my existing collection. Plugging holes here and there as some album I've identified as being a good addition catches my attention. Truth is I never really stopped. :)

This one came in number 36 in Rolling Stone's top 500 albums. Does anyone have any idea what Carole's song Tapestry is really about?

Love my old LPs too Oldhippie. They are making somewhat of a comeback among the younger generations which is great. Our adult children appreciate them too. My wife and I let them take whatever albums they would like from our dwindling collection.

Tangentially, when the movie The Sting came out in 1973 it started a revival of Scott Joplin's music, and as a boy I became enthralled with ragtime. My idol as an aspiring pianist was Joshua Rifkin on Nonsuch Records. Nobody plays Joplin as well as him, including me.
