3000, 750 and 272 made some noise today. It seems I haven't been out to run some machines since last fall. Snow kept me from getting to the big stuff.
Fresh outta zhe box! Actually i wanted to buy a Dolmar 420C but as far i as i know their made in PRC now so no way im gonnae buy that... Looks like it was a good day, nice saws!
Here's two of my newest. The Jred made some cuts and now it's in line for a facelift and a little grinding. The 461 is new and wont be run until its ported.
Well J first is a new clutch cover coming soon to replace the busted up orange one. This one will be the correct color! Next will be a muffler to replace the 1911 style muffler mod. After that the cylinder is coming off and a new Meteor piston is going in. I'll also be grinding the dividers out of the transfer caps and turn this 2166 into a 2172! Will be looking for a few other cosmetic parts to replace the cracked ones. Oh and a thorough cleaning also!
Might've been the same guy that modded a 2000 model 371 i completely overhauled this spring. For a friend previous owner butchered the muffler And it burned through the topcover and chainbrake. Meteor cabers carb throttle cable fuel and pulse line's seal's intake boot recoil gut's Av spring's. Muffler of course and most of the bolts we're missing or stripped. Turned out great it's his only saw He sells firewood year round. Ugly but a great runner
