It's good down here too. Got to load a full cord on the dump trailer in the next couple days for delivery.
Hoarder/Seller's New Year's Resolution. I will cut twice of what I use/sell, when I run out of room I will procure more storage space.
Got the full cord on the dump trailer loaded and delivered yesterday evening. Sure was handy to have the cord calculator on here as I had to get stacks from 2 different sheds to finish the load. Had a happy customer when I got there.
I desperately need the weather to cooperate with me! Ive got about 20 ricks on the books right now and cant get into my supply due to the rain! Planned on having a full weekend to get after it but theres an 80% chance of rain Friday and Friday night... UGH!
Thats the measurement we use in my area... A rick is roughly 1/3-1/2 a cord depending on how long the pieces are. We generally cut between 16-18 inches so that we can pretty well accommodate everyone's stove or fireplace.
Friend called Monday, he had some friends that wanted a big trailer load, 1.3 cords stacked. Started on it Tuesday, finished up and delivered Wednesday morning...think we have a new happy customer... luckily for us, our preacher wasn't busy today. He pulled it for me with his F-350. It was a heavy load, oak and hickory, and had a good way to go.
