Thanks to Andrew Easton we are the proud owners of one of his wood splitting machines, the 12-22. First one east of New Brunswick! These stout wood splitters are #MadeinCanada , Ontario Eastonmade Wood Splitter . That's a big deal people. Its important to support local.
Some of the specs on this machine: 5 second cycle time, 24 ton, 12 hp Honda, Galtech pump and valves, full autocycle.

I really like those! Saw them first on YouTube. They appear to be very well made. The 12 horses will really help pushing through the multiple wedge head.

I was looking at the Timberdevil, Les fendeuses Labelle – Timber Devil Which is like the Powersplit. I don't know who came first with the design. What I liked about those machines is the self powered wheels for traveling.

Not too far - 15 minutes to nearest place with a store. :)

Think were actually a couple hours apart, which is actually pretty close & back yard on a world wide web place like this.

So no video for a bit, here's some close up photos. This is a used unit I bought with 267 hours on the engine, so that explains some of the paint issues and other things you might see.

If you Google your splitter, you might find quite a soap opera about them on another forum. If you haven't seen it yet.

EDIT: I should add, not bad on them. :)

I'm almost tempted to make a road trip to get a look at that thing but it would polly take me a couple of hours to get to the store so that I'd be 12 minutes away lol
