Thanks for tips on poodle eye goobers friends. basod , I have not tried your brilliant advice on a sprayer, I don't have flow control on the shower head hand hose and it's pretty strong, and she's too big now for the kitchen sink. What has worked (I never guessed a large dog would be a velcro dog but she is), as well as still a baby that needs to be supervised so I take her to the bathroom when I shower. She insists on getting in with me and her head gets wet. by the time I'm out they are softened and I can get them off. I cannot manage to get a pic of her but think about the Seinfeld low flow shower heads hairdo's and you get the jist

If you don't want to use a shower, just wet a wash clothe with nice warm water (not too hot and should have a decent moisture content) and dab it around her eyes for about 30 seconds, then gently rub the eye boogies out. Works for my white cat that has allergies.

My Himalayans (5) have flat faces so running eyes need to be cleaned frequently. The wash cloth is the only way to go. Just a gentle swip and you are done.
