The last couple days have been a blessing... We got two full shell loads in and yesterday the son in law borrowed the trailer and hauled in a ton of hay for the horses.

All this and ZERO drops of rain fell on the party.

A wet and windy one coming tonight though.

Yesterday I dragged a barrel of the new shells up and ran them through MUNCHY

OMG I will be happy when we are done with this having to handle the stuff so much...it's cutting into my "slacking time"

    Hi Bob!

Idk Bob, I question if it was a lack of maintenance-either I burned way more this summer than others, or September LBT actually got done, it's been a few really crazy years here. Regardless he said the exhaust chimney pipe is getting scraped this weekend, you know the temps here should be nice

Weekly things like Ash pan tray, scrape burn pot, but those two are also done for a deep cleaning

Deep clean to me is :

    brush and vac firebox

remove door to see ignitor housing and vac inside the bottom there

brush & vac top flip plate for exchange tubes and exchange tubes entry surface (though I have used a wire hanger in the past when muscles were not available from traveling and you gave me a kind suggestion and it worked great ;) )

Use shop vac hose through the bottom chamber where the exchange tubes exhaust to and the ashes end up after scraping them

LBT the chimney 4" straight up pipe

Remove both side panels to vac dust and pet hair from that made it inside there

Open both exhaust access panels and brush/vac in there

Close up fliptop exchange tube plate including the plenum plate cover, igniter door, exhaust access panel and start her up. And if there were an LBT, reconnect that vacuum tube.

I thought I saw somewhere where all panels were to be removed for cleaning, every 1.5-2 tons, maybe why they sell the gaskets as a kit? Anyway, found a nice Manuel, will leave link. http://files.drolet.ca/upload/documents/manuels/Maintenance 65 Series.pdf Drolet & Enerzone Maintenance Gasket Kit, AC09190

I'm sorry, tell Manuel I'm married, already have my own hombre
    Oh dear Bob,

Either I have a different stove or I've been missing something major. If it's ok, going to work on some screen shots from my manual to compare to the awesome link you sent.

Can you give insight to pages 7 and 8 compared to mi Manuel above? Btw wish my manual had nice pics like the one you found below:
    http://files.drolet.ca/upload/documents/manuels/Maintenance 65 Series.pdf

ETA, I recall something about the the models above serial #3000 or something being different?

Looks like they redesigned the stove,as yours is newer. And,looks like they made it easier to clean.
