Good luck with the soda thing. I'm just about Mt. Dew free now. Used to have at least one every day but more like 2-3. I bought three before Christmas and still have one. Only thing is, I've eaten way too much holiday treats and meals. In four weeks timie, I'm at almost 10lbs extra!

Gonna have to be a serious spring here, too!

This new bed is allowing me to sleep 8 hours when I give myself that amount of time. Best money spent ever. Plus, there's room for the two of us plus our dogs. :)

I have no idea what happened, but same here. If you dis-include all the tossin' and turnin', I got 8......otherwise, prolly closer to 4. :picard::dancer::sleeping:

Gas, I think that one of the biggest things I did to help me lose weight was switch to diet dew. Look at the "nutritional" values compared to regular dew, and you'll see. It tastes a little different, but it's still way tastier than "communist coffee" lol. I did only have 1 dew in the am per day though as my wake up juice. There's also crystal light with caffeine.

The aftermath.......99'll need to sleep until spring.
Trolls? Wut's dat? We have a little snow, but a bunch is melting with the January thaw.
Worked with a guy that musta drank 6-8 Mt. Dews every day while at work. No idea how many after work. I love the taste, but the sugar'll kill ya' at some point.

Menards and Lowe's run this morning with three of the pups.

Stopped by a bakery to grab some sourdough bread. Saw a group men drinking coffee and saving the world. I checked if one of them was yooperdave ...no luck.

6 to 8? That was me in my college days.

Down to 2 a day now. Sometimes I don't even finish the second, often because I forget where I set it down:)

Yeah, it's been since May? of last year. Way less carbs in a diet dew. My morning wake up juice essentially put me over my carb quota for each day.

I had a regular dew at lunch when a supplier took me out to lunch on thursday. Holy crackalacka!!!

So, I have to change my oil in the Audi today. I'll take advantage of the 50° day we have that falls on a weekend. I have my 10 qts of Mobil 0w-40 and my genu-wine Gerrrr Mann filter. I'll have a quart left over for top offs. Yes, it takes 9 qts of zero-w-forty. I hate doing oil changes on cars. I much rather doing charges on real SUVs and trucks. I think I've got a fog light bulb out, so I better check on that and buy one to replace it at the same time. If the fog light needs to be changed from below, then this is the time to do it. There's a big crazy skid plate air dam thingie on my Audi that needs to come off for oil changes anyways. If that big skid plate airdam thing didn't need to be removed for oil changes it would be a simple oil change vehicle.

Chainsaws and motorized augers running in the dark before dawn this morning. Unusually nice weather here today, but I still think ice fisherman are nuts.

The local Anderson window repair guy stopped out today, it looks like our patio slider can be repaired with new rollers and seals. I had zero luck in finding replacement parts but this older guy knew it of the top of his head. Hopefully the parts are stick, if but it will be a couple of weeks. Either way, we don't need a new door.:)

I occasionally have a can of Mountain Dew instead of Pepsi. I like it, but try to not drink it too much.

I read a report about diet soda a while back. Supposedly none are very good for you either. And in a list of worst to best health wise, it said Diet Mountain Dew was the worst for you. Don’t know if it’s true or not. And don’t care because I don’t like the taste of any diet soda. I guess Diet Coke wasn’t too bad, but still didn’t like it.

I only like the regular sodas and I’ve decided it’s time to slowly stop drinking soda all together. To much refined sugar in it and many, many other things we eat and drink. It won’t be easy because I’m so use to having it. But I’ll slowly wean myself off of it. And greatly reduce my sweets intake as well.

You'll be way ahead if you do. Myself, .....I only consume black coffee and water. Artificial sweeteners are really bad for over-all health. Carmel colored Pop such as coke or pepsi promote kidney stones in a lot of people. Mountain Dew is well known to cause an addiction to it. In some of the Appalachan states it has created a problem where, as much as 65% of the population of some areas have unbelievably high major dental and gum issues.

Hand formed, no mold or pin. Meat filling....a mixture of pork and beef. Roasts first, then cut into chunks and put through hand grinder along with drippings and grated cheese (also seasoned before cooking) Dough for ravs is from scratch and also hand rolled (me). The red sauce is also made from scratch.

When 99 says they're home made, she ain't kidding around! Everything about them is home-made!
