The big head on roofing nails works just as good at standing up the nails. Or so I've heard....from somebody who is not me.

81 students got sick, I was the worst. I had to be taken to the hospital as I couldn't keep anything in, or down. I had to be taken to the hospital and was kept there for well over a day. Waking up in your underwear, with nobody you know, and no idea where you are with an IV stuck in you is no way to wake up. Well, at least I woke up.

 

With the exception of the IV, isnt that supposed to be part of the college experience?

 

Yeah, sorta.

 

To be expected since most of them are lawyers....................................

 

Nor lawyers, which sometimes grow up to be judges and other people.

 

I was able to accomplish a little trail work today with the help of the M59. Only ended up with two hours to work on the trails though. Tomorrow I WILL work at least six hours out there. The will be out.

 

Wow, I actually slept for 8 hours last night. That literally never happens.

Weather is supposed to be crap today, so I'll hang indoors with the little one and let mama sleep in. Hopefully I can get into the woods tomorrow if the ground is solid.

 

Rain all day from the sound of it. Let it pour, it's a Lego day anyway, grandson is back from Orlando and his parents need a rest.

 

Well, the 5 year old would have loved that for sure! She kept 99 busy with snowman building as the warm temps and sunshine made the snow sticky enough for that.....then snow angels, sleigh riding and whatever else the two of them could think of.....there is no snow where they are from. (trolls)

Both of them had a blast. The Mom and Dad....well, they had truck troubles on the way up. Have an appointment at a local shop today to get it taken care of.

 

Ahhhhhhhhh..............good old "crows feet" solution huh?

 

..........that would be so nice...........8 hours!

 

Holiday party this evening. Should start cooking around 500 home made ravioli around 4:00ish. Gonna be a loud house with all the "girls" yaking up a storm.

I start cutting back on the soda/caffeine today. Need less calories to lose a few pounds and the soda isn’t good for me anyway. So from now on a small glass of apple juice starts the day. I’ll have a Pepsi mid morning to get my caffeine then and try to only have that one the whole day. Usually I have two cans a day. Every once in a while three. I’m going to try to wean myself off completely in a slow process.

Going out on the trails today with my son helping and we are going to get through another section and get some firewood while doing that.
