Went into the woods today and wreaked havoc on the dead ash with the 362. I think for a total of 15 trees. Played criss cross applesauce with the trees, just making piles where they fell.

They aren't big but most are nice and straight. They make for easy processing and stacking. Another 20 or so and that's all there is.

I'll get them bucked next week, but it will be a while before I can get them off the hill. In the foreground of one picture is a pile of rounds from last spring's rampage.

How come these rounds from earlier in the season weren't split? It's not firewood till it's split,

Have you looked at TN Wholesale Nurseries?

All bare root. I've been looking for Sugar Maples. They've got 18"-24" seedlings at $140 per 100. Less for 6"-12" or 12"-18". Lots of other trees I've seen on their site are in the same price range. Just ordered 5 winterberry bush from them. They shipped me 8.

Nice work. It’s been a while since I was able to go hog wild with just dropping trees everywhere. Cleared a building lot for a friend a few years back, that was a lot of fun. Mostly just get to drop one here one there.
