Kathryn and I made a promise to each other after the last cat had to be put down. NO more pets! no more barfed up hairballs, peeing on things to mark territory (that's reserved for me in the backyard now! ) no more litterboxes to clean.

    I'm good with it!

I've had a cat since the 50's and thought I was done with the fur balls when I had Mr. T put down back a while ago but I now have a little orange girl kitty that tries to take me out on the stairs. Orange kitties are rarely girls but KC was a Mamma kitty before being adopted.

Well the plans all worked with precision...
Truck was all ready to go yesterday, and this morning at 7:30 we headed down the hill to the plant..

Arrived at 7:50, got our light weight and headed back to the rear buildings where they are keeping plenty of shells in 4 x 4 x 4 foot totes.

Young fella grabbed a couple and filled us right up.

We stuffed the can as full as it could go and headed up to weigh out.

    1500# right on the money.
Still 1000 pounds lighter than we normally get with the normal stuff....buttttttttttttttttttt...

If the weather cooperates we will do another run possibly late tomorrow or Friday.

Got the outfit all snuggled into the barn and ready to unload tomorrow morning.

We have thing to do today...
Big issue is keeping the stuff dry ...

    Some pics

Got up to 20f today,up here.Wind finally died an hour ago.Sun came out bright 2 hours before dark.Looks like a warm spell moving in.Went to town, hauled garbage, hit the farm store, auto parts store, ace hardware and grocery store, filled up 5 cans of fuel for plow truck. All in all,a productive day, even though the fuel caps I brought home for the "new/old" 50 gal tank I put in plow truck do not fit.Prob back to town tomorrow, but, now have a reference to work from for this old fuel transfer tank.Oh,warm enough cat was outside several hours today, made him happy.

I went on a meds run and I was bundled up enough that I didn't wheeze when I hit the cold air.

No, doc said cut down on the lifting, boss said cut down on the pellet dust ( her meds cause issues for her) so this Bear gave up pellets after depleting his stash last season.

My home was finished in 2007 and has a 4 zone oil fired heating (DHW) system that is decent.
