    Had a fellow come by my office yesterday and sell me some saws. This Poulan 7700 and S25 are nasty...

    This Homelite 550 is a runner and in better condition.

    Also got this Homelite 925 in the deal.

    He bought 53 saws from a closed dealer so I may need to go see what else he has.

    I've heard a clean saw is a happy saw. I've seen someone refinish a saw. Washing/waxing a saw a not really unheard of either. But that pic of the Poulan 7700 is the first time I've ever seen a saw in the process of getting a facial spa treatment...... That is what all that mud is for right?

    That oily, dusty film does a great job at preserving some of these old gems. Might look ugly at first, but clean up great. I bet that 7700 is no exception, I bet it cleans up well.

    Folks are right on the grime. This upside down 5200 was pretty nasty when I got it.

    They are unbelievably strong. Seeing is definitely believing on those saws. Performance is close to a Stihl 066, and I'm not even joking!
