We have traded with them since 1991...
The manager called me and offered the unit.
It is snug as a bug in a rug in my basement now too.. DO NOT WANT IT HARMED

The shells are about 8500 BTU per pound.

My entire reason is the COST
My cubic pension will not deal with the cost of 3 tons of pellets per season or more.

Generally we buy about 7500 pounds a season $112.50

    I can do this. $$$

The extra fooling around this year is a pain, but it will get better soon.

After they reinstall the old shell handler system life will be good again..

No unlimited data here either, I barely use the phone for anything but a phone. Maybe that will change with the new phone and hopefully unlimited data plans will drop in pricing. The factory navs I have had do not connect to any external, it all internal. Maybe if I relied on nav for more than I do, frequent updates ight make a difference.

Brings me to another issue. I have been using a Galaxy S3 since it was new-so very old. I got a Motorola Z3 from Verizon for 5 bucks a month/24 months on Cyber Monday, so 120.00 total. Good phone so far but anything would beat the old phone at this point. I have until January 15 to return if I wish to.

Looking at maybe changing to an S9 for around 400.00 but dont know if the differences are worth the $$.

    Z3 vs S9? 120.00 vs 400.00?

So far I am liking the almost stock android OS on Motorola vs the Samsung altered one, the main issue is that Motorola does not have an indicator LED. I dont live on my phone and having to keep picking it up and checking for missed texts or calls vs a flashing LED that I can see easily.

S9 has better camera and would be from Best Buy which means no bill credits to deal with for 24 months. Also, faster processor. I am sure there are other reasons the S9 might be better but I dont think I would take advantage of them.

The vehicles I have been looking at have Sync 3 but a small screen (5"), so even if I put it on the dash screen, I wouldn't be able to see it without my readers on. But a vehicle with NAV has a bigger screen. Or, a 7" screened Garmin (or whatever) would be cheaper.

I may have not explained it correctly as the Company I left I have been with for only 7 years, what I meant was that in 39 years I have never given notice to a company that I was leaving as big projects end I would go to the next one with or without that Company trying to minimize moving and actually put down some roots where the work was. In my industry it is not as common for people to remain with the same company for their entire career as it is an extremely volatile business reacting directly to many factors but most importantly the economy nationwide and even locally from state to state . I have lived in California,Illinois,Florida,New York, and Massachusetts a result of living where the building has taken me with Booms like the current one in Boston / Cambridge for the last 10 years.

The reason being that the shells are a waste product and must be disposed of (Can't dump them in back of the plant)
The material has found favor with landscapers and others that use it as ground cover.

Cats hate the stuff and wont dig in it.
    Slugs hate it too.
The material is very slow to break down unlike bark dust.

There are others that fuel their pellet stoves with it, and I know there are many who do not have the ability to build equipment and things to deal with the sudden change in the shell sizes.

But changes are already in the works..

I suspect by next season that we will be back to normal.

If you're looking at Chevy, don't buy full size pickup. The only rust proofing treatment on the frame is a waxy substance that's useless. Frames are rusting before they even leave the lot.

2018 Ford focus first night in garage.jpg

Merry Chrismas to me, and happy getting ready to commute a lot further. Settled on a 2018 Ford focus that has the cold weather package. Tight getting into the entrance of the garage which is weird because it is only 2" or 2.5" wider at the mirrors than the old Focus. I'm sure I'll get used to it and pretty soon it will be no big deal. Parked it dead in the middle this time instead of angling it to the wall on the right as I did with the old car.

Thanks! Not sure what I will do with the extra time - I spent hours and hours and hours researching over the last couple of weeks :loco: . Thought I was going to go used and was looking at cars at 30-40k miles. But they really stepped up their rebates so for about $2,500-$3,000 more, got new instead. With full warranty coverage and most of my "nice-to-haves", I should be happy for quite a while.
