He offered me a bunch earlier this year....free. He then was informed that people would actually pay for wood. I told him no thanks.....there’s dead ash everywhere!! Guess the uptown folks don’t buy as much as he thought....lol.
Isn't it amazing when you offer to help someone out by removing wood they instantly think they can retire on the profits to be made. I offered an elderly lady to cut it up do that and I didn't even need the wood. Was going to haul it to someone else who did. She declined and told me that was "good wood". She mowed around it till she passed away 3 years later.
Amazing indeed. Especially with all the standing dead in this state. I have access to over 20 standing dead ash. Just need to get busy.
