Well, if I split em up between you & Cole it would only be 15 or 20 apiece LOL. I may do that & keep some round ones for the dirty stuff.

That’s a mans splitter, hope I don’t need one like that. That might be the death of me throwing that round on the splitter.

Just my opinion but for everything I’ve seen so far this set up seems like the most natural way to work at splitting wood for a human body. Heck you could even have a sit upon if standing hurt your back. I really like this fellows design. Just my .02 worth.

Definitely, and that is why I love the 3 year plan. With me, it is not only injuries but also polio in my youth. Sad but as we age things deteriorate and I turned 76 this year...

Check out this one. We even got Midwinter to try it out. The only thing it lacks is a chair.

I think with 12 hour days, and the fact that I have decade old standing dead fire kill. Has led to piling logs and not being concerned with c/s/s. Now that the kids are getting to be helping size and mom is less busy wrangling them they can help more. Mom was happy when we finished putting up 3 cords in the pole barn. I bought a nice 024 super from Dallas, and she was saying she is looking forward to trying it out. She was saying how peaceful with was when just her and I were splitting wood. It is nice that she came to help and enjoyed herself and is looking forward to working on firewood. I think once warmer weather comes around she will be more likely to drive that saw.

That is a fine looking splitter, I like the work height and table. There a pile of good ideas in that photo.
