Only 3 more days of work this week, and then I just haveh to work the day after Christmas. So 4 days off work left this year for me.

I wasn't going to take off the those 3 days, but I was told I'll get those days off, "back" to use as vacation days later on. I've got no issue with that.

I hope you didn't bend the base of the light bulb (the part thats stuck in the socket) because for sure its a lot tougher to get out of there then.....errr, so I heard ....just guessing :zip:....probably o_O....well, OK! Happenned to me a month ago and yeah, I tripped the breaker trying the needle nose pliers thing myself!

    ZAP!

    FLASH!

DARKNESS! Then 99's darkness piercing voice commenting on my failed attempt!!!

Oh yeah....BTW. I did use the needle nose to remove what was left of the stuck light bulb base also. I did have to insert the needles into the base and then spread the jaws OPEN so they would friction hold onto the base.....

While using my splitting maul to knock the frozen rounds apart at the OWB, I could feel a vibration in the handle. Yup, there was a crack that started at the head and worked back about a foot down from the maul. Dang! The wood finally gave up or had a weak spot or whatever, but it wouldn't be effective as a splitting maul any longer. It came from Menards maybe 4-5 years ago (longer?) and saw little use.

Anyhoo, I was headed back to Menards today, so I brought it along with me. Yup, told them at the service desk and they said go pick out another one! Nice!

    Thanks Ray!

One more bit of advice for you wildwest .

When you do get that old light bulb out, just bury it in your garden. With any luck, next year you'll have your own power plant!

Any more advice needed, just ask them at Ohm Depot!

I do not care for pretzels.

But, I feel it my civic duty to tell the rest of you about these pretzels. I tried one last week and man oh man are they ever good!! I can't stop eating them! Try 'em!

There are a couple of local grocery stores that handle them around here. I think they are around $6 a bag though! :bug:

About an hour ago I was reading a thread on another forum about people dying in their sleep, or moments after waking up.

A few minutes ago my brother texted me to tell me that a childhood friend mine didnt wake up Saturday morning.

    Weird coincidence
