I went out back to start on one of the two big oak trees that are down. I ran into this one that is in a spot that is normally in the middle of the swamp so I went to check it out. The water line was less than a foot away so I knew I had to get on it before the next rain. One daughter came out to talk to me while I split it and the another came out to hang out when I carried it back to the house to stack. I added in the extra pic of it sitting next to one of my stacks that I have added a little to since my last post. It may have been a small project but it was a huge stress relief and a load of fun.

That is very nice and productive. Looks like that stack is getting good sun! Money in the bank right there!

Get it before it drowns! Nice work there. Looks like some big splits, too. What will you burn that fine looking fuel in?

I had to act fast with rain in the forecast this week. Sadly I only have a fireplace so i won't get the full potential out of this.
